ok so i'm not much of a blogger.  anyway, my dad suffered a detached retina and had to have surgery.  he's doing well now. still can't see out of his left eye, but at least he doesn't have to wear the bandage over it anymore and the swelling has gone down considerably.  it's a shame that he won't ever be able to get back the 20/20 vision he had.  fortunately, if all goes well, he should be able to SEE through the eye.  not perfectly or anything, but enough to function normally.

high school football season is on again and that means i'm one busy mutha.  along with the whole selling my condo, buying my parents' old house, moving out of my condo, and helping my parents' move into their new house...oh, plus changing to the night shift at work...whew!...thing, i'll also be coaching everyday.  don't know how i'm gonna do it all.  sometimes there's just not enough time in a day.

oh...last sunday we finally had our first softball game.  WE SUCK!  i mean we shouldn't have been too surprised cause none of us has even touched a ball or a bat since the last game of last season.  so we went up against a team that looked like they've been playing together for years, plus, they look like they practice.  We were horrible, they were good.  we lost.  oh well, we're playing just for the fun of it anyway.

so this is exactly what i thought would happen...start a blog, write a few entries, then get so busy and lazy that the entries become fewer and fewer.  hopefully i can write here more.

boy am i glad that my taxes are still simple enough that i can do them myself...the only drawback is that i tend to procrastinate.  i finally got to work and it only took a couple of hours to do, but now i actually have to send them.  i better hop to it!  april 15th is just around the corner.

first softball game of the season was rained out today. probably not a bad thing considering we still haven't practiced.  hell, i haven't thrown or hit a softball since the end of last season. i don't think any of us have. maybe i'll go to the batting cages this week.
